Profi Press 160 Ton M/H-M/C-2 Hydraulic Workshop Press
The Profi Press 160 Ton M/H-M/C-2 is a motorised hydraulic workshop press that delivers 1570 kN (160 tonnes) of pressing force for professional metalworking applications. Built in the EU with CE certification and backed by a 2 year warranty.
This press gives you 1570 kN of controlled pressing power for demanding workshop tasks. You can press bearings, straighten heavy components, form metal, and tackle the tough jobs that smaller presses can't handle.
You get two ways to operate it. Use the joystick control for fast, efficient work on production tasks. Switch to the manual hand pump when you need precise, careful control. The two speed hydraulic system means you can approach your work quickly at 7.48 mm/sec, then slow down to 2.40 mm/sec for accurate pressing.
The cylinder moves left and right across the full 1100mm working width. This means you can position your workpiece exactly where you need it. The worktable adjusts in height too, in 150mm increments, so you can accommodate different sized components.
This is EU manufactured equipment built for professional use. The press includes integrated pressure monitoring and regulation, a dual acting cylinder, and comes CE certified.
Applications
- Bearing installation and removal: Press wheel bearings, shaft bearings, and bushings in or out with controlled force
- Straightening work: Correct bent shafts, axles, and heavy components that need significant force
- Metal forming: Bend and shape metal for fabrication and manufacturing work
- Assembly and disassembly: Handle press-fit components and separate rusted or seized parts
- Punching and riveting: Perform industrial punching and heavy-duty riveting operations
- Testing applications: Apply controlled compression for product testing and quality control
Key Features & Benefits
- Dual operation modes: Switch between motorised joystick control for production work and manual hand pump for precision jobs. You don't need separate machines for different tasks.
- Two speed hydraulic system: Fast approach at 7.48 mm/sec gets you to the workpiece quickly. Slower working speed at 2.40 mm/sec gives you accurate control. Change speeds easily with the hand lever.
- Movable cylinder positioning: Adjust the cylinder left or right across the 1100mm width. This lets you centre your work perfectly or position it where you need it.
- Height-adjustable worktable: The table adjusts in 150mm increments to fit different workpiece heights. You can work on various sized components without struggling.
- Integrated pressure control: Built-in pressure manometer shows you the force in real-time. The pressure regulation system lets you set maximum limits for consistent results.
- Dual acting cylinder: The cylinder works in both directions, giving you controlled pressing and return strokes for better efficiency.
- CE certified with 2-year warranty: Meets European safety standards. The manufacturer warranty protects your investment.

Frequently Asked Questions
What power supply do I need?
The press requires 400V, 3-phase power supply at 50Hz or 60Hz. This is standard industrial power in UK and European workshops. Single-phase motor options are available for custom orders.
Is 160 tonnes enough capacity for my work?
This capacity handles most heavy-duty workshop applications. It's suitable for pressing large bearings, straightening substantial components, and forming thick metal. If you're working with automotive bearings, structural components, or general engineering work, this press provides good capacity. Lighter work might suit smaller models. Heavier industrial applications might need larger capacity presses.
What maintenance does it need?
Check oil levels daily before use. Change the hydraulic oil every 2,000 to 4,000 working hours depending on how hard you're working it. Schedule regular pressure gauge checks and annual professional inspections of seals, hoses, and valves.
Can I customise the press?
Yes. Choose different motor configurations, bespoke dimensions, and system integrations. Optional accessories include V-blocks, foot pedals, brake press tooling, and custom tools. (There is also a 1500mm wide model with a larger 1500mm working width for working on bigger pieces)
What safety features does it have?
The press is CE certified under the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. It includes pressure regulation and monitoring for controlled operation. In the UK, risk assessments under PUWER regulations and proper operator training are required. Optional safety guards and protection fences are available.
